Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

This is part of the Anne Olsen collection. Quilt. Palm Leaf. 69 3/8" x 85 1/2". Green and white solids. On the label Anne wrote: "I purchased this Palm leaf quilt from the Timeless Treasures Antique Shop on September 21, 1996 at a Zonta Antique Show held at the Cheyene Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall in Cheyene Wyoming for $45. There are 99 individual blocks and each block has at least one machine stitched line of holes. This indicates that someone took apart parts of each block, including the seams between blocks and let them out before I got the top. The top still has some puckering because of inaccurate piecing which pulls the borders in a little unevenly, but it laid pretty flat for quilting. The entire top was pieced by machine, probably sometime in the 1930's. I hand quilted it in Spring 1997. The batting is Hobbs Heirloom 100% ecological cotton. The quilting thread is 100% cotton Mettler quilting thread. The backing is Springmaid Rangefinder unbleached muslin 90" wide. The binding is 30's vintage fabric purchased earlier from an antique dealer. Pattern: Palm Leaf, Hosanna Anne T. Olsen, Laramie, Wyoming Size 69 3/8 X 85 1/4 Wyoming Quilt Project #1199" Quilt appeared in a 1998 issue of Quiltmaker magazine. HowAcquired: Donated to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum by the maker, Anne Olsen of Laramie, WY Ownership/History: Original maker unknown.
