Quilt, "Mama always Wore an Apron." Made by Barbara Barr in fond remembrance of the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum's founder, Eugenia Mitchell. Blocks are set three by three, with each block including an appliqued apron, each made from different aprons actually worn and owned by Eugenia Mitchell. HowAcquired: Donated to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum by the maker, Barbara Barr of Littleton, CO. Ownership/History: Made by Barbara Barr from January to February 2005 for the RMQM "Remember When" Challenge. The quilt includes 9 pieces of fabric from the aprons of Eugenia Mitchell, the museum's founder. LocMade: Littleton///CO
