One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This quilt is machine pieced of solid and geometric fabrics in pink and white. There is no batting. The binding is the backing folded to the top with mitered corners. The quilt is hand quilted with circular patterns. The quilting is done at 3 to 4 stitches per inch using white cotton thread. The backing is machine pieced off-white cotton. There are signatures in each of the pieced blocks from relatives of Pansy Hook and DAR Pioneer Museum board members. Ownership/History: Maker unknown. Quilt top purchased by Eugenia Mitchell at the estate sale of Pansy Hook in 1985. Quilted by Eugenia Mitchell. LocMade: unknown
