Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This is a wholecloth quilt made of white fabric, hand embroidered with blue cotton thread. The top was purchased in panels for $20 at the Goodwill Store on Alameda Street in Denver, CO, in 1971. The batting is polyester, and the binding is purchased white cotton bias tape with rounded corners. It is hand quilted with white cotton thread, following a pre-printed pattern of feathers, flowers, and circles. The stitches are uneven and 4 to 5 per inch. The backing is machine pieced white cotton. There is a signature embroidered in turquoise thread on the front "Eugenia Mitchell 1972." Ownership/History: Eugenia Mitchell quilted the embroidered top panels after purchasing them at a Denver Goodwill thrift store for $20. LocMade: unknown
