Overall crazy quilt piecing--no block formation, no borders or binding. Pearl cotton embroidery includes several types of stitches. No ornamental or representational designs. Backing is grey solid. Piping around is velvet with no cording. HowAcquired: Donated to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum by Helen Crisman. Ownership/History: Maker unknown. Given to Helen Crisman in 1936 by the owner of a boarding house in Greeley, CO, where she was staying. LocMade: unknown
