One of three quilts at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum that were made by the Lemmon sisters, Lura Lee Lemmon and Jean Lemmon Benson. The sisters demonstrated great skill with their exceptional hand quilting. This quilt has beautiful double feather wreaths quilted in the white background between the geometric rows done in red and green. This quilt apeared in Quiltmaker magazine Sept/Oct 98. HowAcquired: Donated to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum by Judith Trager of Boulder, CO. Ownership/History: Made by Jean Lemmon Benson and Lura Lee Lemmon of Warrensburg, MO. Given to their grand-neice, Natalie Parker of Longmont, CO, who gave it to the donor, Judith Trager, of Boulder, CO. LocMade: Warrensburg///MO//United States
