An original design by the maker, which explores the color wheel and with shades and tints. Color placement provides the design and goes from dark to light; lame strips in some triangles form a friendship star; black backing; print binding. Quilting pattern: overall loops. Workmanship: construction - excellent. Quilting: Machine, fair to good. Uneven, Tension problems, metallic thread. Finishing 1/4" double fold, straight grain machine front, hand back, mitered. Visual impact: strong. HowAcquired: Donated to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum by the maker, Sherri Driver, of Englewood, CO. Ownership/History: Made by Sherri Jean (Baine) Driver of Englewood, CO in August, 1991. Made as an experiment with fabrics and colors. LocMade: Englewood///CO//United States
