Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This quilt is hand and machine pieced of solid, checkered, flowered, geometric, and dotted fabrics in blue and white. The batting is cotton. The binding is hand attached, created by folding the backing to the front with straight corners. The quilt is hand quilted with a cross hatch pattern using white cotton thread. The stitching is uneven 7 to the inch. The backing is machine pieced off-white cotton. The blocks date from the 1880's or 90's and some from the 1920's and the blue background fabric from Sears & Roebuck. Ownership/History: Maker unknown. Purchased by Eugenia Mitchell at Almost Antiques in Denver, Colorado. LocMade: unknown
