Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:
One of the original 101 quilts donated by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, to start the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. This quilt is a wholecloth quilt with illusion blocks of 15.5". It was probably originally a kit. Ownership/History: Original maker unknown. Eugenia Mitchell purchased the top at a Goodwill thrift store for $20. All of the green vine had been appliqued on and one of the flowers was complete. There was only enough material for that one flower, so Eugenia took it apart, made a pattern, and purchased enough material to make 90 flowers. It took one hour to make each of the ruched flowers.
