Eugenia Mitchell made this alphabet crib quilt in 1988. She used a pre-printed panel of animals and alphabet and borders, adding hand embroidery around the designs to give a dimensional effect. Name and date are embroidered in lower corner. HowAcquired: Donated to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum by Linda Bick (maker's granddaughter) of Kirkwood, MO. Ownership/History: Made by Eugenia Mitchell of Golden, CO, in 1988. LocMade: Golden/Jefferson//CO//United States.
