Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

Miss Ima Hogg (1882-1975), a noted Texas decorative arts collector, philanthropist, and historic preservationist, donated the Winedale property and its historic structures and period furnishings to the University of Texas in 1967. This quilt is one of a number of quilts she gave to Winedale in the 1960s and 1970s. Few records exist on the provenance of these quilts, though we know that typically she purchased decorative arts at auction and in antique stores in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts during the 1960s. However, for this quilt we have a purchase receipt indicating that Miss Hogg bought the quilt for $65.00 on October 14, 1963, at Lamb's Mill Antiques, located near Krumsville, Pennsylvania. She donated it to Winedale in 1967.
