The donor inherited this quilt from her mother, Mrs. T. M. Reagan, who was the quiltmaker.

The donor, from Houston, Texas, donated this quilt to the University of Texas in 1968 along with two others (see W2h3.68 and W2h4.68). She states that this quilt was made by her mother, Mrs. T. M. Reagan of Hunt, Texas, with the help of her (the mother's) sister, just prior to World War II.
