The donor, a graduate of the University of Texas, gave this quilt and two others (see W2h2.68 and W2h4.68) to the University of Texas in 1968. According to the donor, this quilt was made by her grandmother, possibly with the assistance of her daughter (the donor's mother, Mrs. T. M. Reagan) sometime before the family moved to Texas in the mid 1880s.
