Maker began to spin and weave this at age of 15 or 16. Father was raising sheep and mother and grandmother decided to bring spinning wheel and loom out of attic. They took wool to grist and carding mill in Arlington, WV, brought rolags home. She was working on it when she was married- husband put in a few rows. After marriage, she returned home from time to time to work on her weaving. Each panel about 30" wide. She dyed colored weft strips with Tintex.
