Has 48 Blue Eagles. NRA initials in red on top of each eagle. State name & "we do our part" embroidered in red under each eagle. On back embroidered in red "Ella L. Martin of Montcalm, WV" Presented to President Roosevelt November 27, 1933 quilt was hanging - could not fully document, This quilt was hanging the day we did the documentation. Much info is available at Cultural Center. The quilt was presented to President Roosevelt in December 1933 After his death it was given to White House Chief of Mails It was purchased from a consignment shop in Vinson Hall, a retirement home in McLean VA by Mary Ann Shindle, 100 Oakmont Court, Viena VA 22180 in 1976 Donated to WV Cultural Center December 31 1987 Appraised for $30,000
