The parallel lines are 5/16" apart in the background. There is a stuffed squared feather wreath in the white sections between blue motifs. The wreath has inward curving sides and is on point with crosshatching inside the center. There is quilting in the ditch around each applique piece.
Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:
The name "Mrs. Ewer's Tulip" might be given to this quilt because it most resembles that pattern in Brackman (#3105 on page 373), but as it is applique, the name for a pieced quilt does not apply any more than the family's name of "Wandering foot".

This quiltmaker brought in seven quilts that she had made for the wqp documentation. This biographical information applies to wqp numbers 2198-2204. The WQP did not ask a specific question about who did the quilting, but did ask if there was assistance in making the quilts, and the maker did not indicate assistance for any of the seven, so it can be presumed that she did the quilting as well as making the tops for all seven.
