Vida Lived to 105, in almost 3 centuries had she lived a few more months. Between 1942 and 1948 She worked as a surgical nurse. In her teens she worked for one year as a milliner's assistant. Her pay for the year was her choice of one hat. "And it wasn't even one of the pretty ones!" she'd say with a smile. Her hobbies were sewing, (she was a fabulous seamstress), crocheting, knitting, baking and church work.
