Biography of the quiltmaker:
Quiltmaker died 50 miles north of North Battleford, Saskatchewan on a ranch. Quiltmaker used a large stretch wooden quilting frame. Made quilts for all of the beds for practical reasons. Daughter of quiltmaker (Letitia Wilson) put extra edging on the quilt because original binding was fraying after so much washing (before electric washing machines).
