This quilt was given to the OAAS and winner received $600.00. It competed at the Bobcaygeon Fair which was the first step to becoming a grand champion winner. This quilt was the first annual Grand Champion Winner in 1979 for the Canada Packer Quilt Competition held in conjunction with the OAAS (Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies). It was the first winner, for this Competition. The competition started in 1979 and completed in 1997. It is #1 of 19 quilts.
