Belived to belong to paternal Grandmother, Ida Mae Schroder Wittmayer. she was born November 12, 1880 in Huntley, IL and died April 1, 1966 in St. Cloud, MN. The family was well to do, and always had live-in help. Do not believe my Grandmother made the quilt. Ida did a little needlepoint, but was not particularly well-schooled in needlepoint arts as she always had someone to "do for" her, as she frequently said.
