Please give other stories, customs, or interesting information about this quilt:
My grandmother was a very frugal lady. She wasted nothing. With a third grade education she was very wise. She made all the clothes for her girls; drafting patterns from the Montgomery Wards catalog and my mother said they were lovely. I remember her strawberry patch, sweet peas ( flowers) good cook and sitting at the quilting frame as she quilted for others for a little money. She sewed dresses for my sister and me- She was a very sweet kind and hard working lady.
