Mary Clark’s Quilt
Mary Morgan
East Wenatchee, Washington
Alliance for American Quilts
Note from the qmaker: “My original design using photos of Grandmother holding her oldest granddaughter. Featured in the quilt is old hand kerchief (1960’s?) from Mary Clark’s oldst daughter, a school teacher. Mary’s “Rose of Sharon” quilt is king sized and made for the Clark family summer house in Onekama, Mich. It is two layers, all hand quilted with appliqué rose design on top. Five generations have enjoyed and treasured it.”
