The exhibit is produced by The Group for Cultural Documentation (TGCD) of Washington, DC. The Symposium is a collaborative effort of TGCD, Smithsonian Institution's Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, the Langston Hughes Institute of Buffalo, NY and the Buffalo Museum of Science. The Symposium is supported by contributions from TGCD, the Turner Foundation and the Eleanor Ott Trust.
