Voigt House Victorian Museum
From QuiltIndex
"The Voigt House Victorian Museum, a property of the Public Museum, is a rare "time capsule" showing what life was like for a prominent local family over a hundred years ago. The three-story brick mansion was completed in 1896 and occupied by members of the Voigt family for nearly 76 years. Today individuals can step over the threshold into the gaslight era and enjoy a guided tour of the Voigt House or attend one of our popular Christmas or spring teas. Temporary themes and exhibits illustrate various aspects of the Victorian Era lifestyle such as weddings, travel, clothing, and holiday celebrations."
